Coaching

We see coaching as a structured conversation between the coach and the individual set firmly within the business context. We jointly identify overall objectives for the coaching relationship and agree how these should be communicated with the “sponsor” within the organisation which may be a line manager and / or a member of the HR or learning and development team. Each coaching session focuses on the agreed objectives, encouraging the individual to review their current approach and assess what’s working well and where changes could be made. We recognise that understanding and insight are crucial stages in the coaching process but these need to be translated into action. Each session results in a pragmatic set of actions that the individual has identified with the support of the coach and is committed to achieving.
